"The real business of film and television does not occur in offices, it occurs everywhere else but." Sir Raymond Chiar
It should not be taught in a classroom, it should be workshopped where real film and television business is happening...
A significant part of being successful in the film and television industries is networking. It is a relationship-based business, and anyone involved with it needs to meet and develop positive relationships with those already emerging and established. Where better a place to learn then one of the most exclusive media clubs in the world.

The majority of our workshops are taught at the Spoke Club. Non-members of the club are welcome to take our workshops as our guests, and are asked to act accordingly. There is no dress code.
We encourage all workshop participants to order food and drink from the bar during breaks. The menu at the club is one of the best in the city! As well all of the rooms we use are fully licensed for our adult participants.
Although we use private facilities at the club for part of each workshop, for more technically based workshops we also use other facilities in the area that give us access to state of the art equipment.
Location and Access
The club is located at 600 King Street West. One block East of Bathurst, on the north-side of the street. There are two large glass doors, if they are locked press the intercom and tell the concierge you are there for a Vitality Workshop, they will buzz you in. Once inside take the elevator to the fourth floor, the concierge there will direct you to the correct room.

The Cinema
This is our favorite room, obviously! With high-definition projection, variable aspect ratios and THX digital surround sound, the Screening Room is a great place to see or preview films. It also has lots of floor space, which comes in handy for many of our workshops like acting and short filmmaking. The room seats 18 people in comfortable chairs and loveseats, with footstools and side tables. This room is also fully licensed.
All rooms in the Club are equipped with WIFI Internet access, including the rooftop.
The Fourth Floor
The fourth floor is the heart of the Club, from which members enter and exit, and holds most of the spaces where members work, eat and drink. Arriving in reception from the elevator, workshop participants check in and are directed to the appropriate room.
The Reading Room
A quiet area intended as a refuge in which to read, relax or study. Workshop participants may recline on the sofa or one of the many reading chairs during breaks. Coffee and snacks are served at any time of day. Some of our workshops will have classes in this room from time to time.
The Lounge
A place for workshop participants to have a drink, engage in conversation, share ideas and stories during breaks and after the workshops.
The Board Room
Some elements our smaller workshops are done here. A large pine table and flat screen TV come in handy when we want to be able to sit face to face and chat, develop, and critique.
